First Sunday in Advent

This morning, the Gospel lesson brings us the Triumphal Entry, and the cleansing of the temple. two stories that, at first, seem to have little to do with Advent. However, when we dig a little into the themes of Advent, we see that they help us to see clearly what Advent is all about.
