This Morning, in the story of the Prodigal Son, Jesus gives us some wonderfully imagery of what God is really like. Often people will create in their own mind ideas of God they find easy to reject, to reject God. Others simply create an imaginary God which ends up looking like themselves. Jesus, in this Parable, paints for us a picture of God who:
REGRETS our REBELLION,
yet REJOICES at our RETURN and
RESTORES us when we REPENT.
